About the Author

Jaquie Lait is a spiritual super mum and inspirational author who enjoys writing children’s books that touch the hearts of caregivers and readers, all while teaching children meaningful life concepts and emotional awareness. Queensland Country raised, Jaquie enjoys her outdoors lifestyle and loves being energised and inspired by all things nature. As a Buddhist and student of Five Mountain Zen Order, Jaquie’s selfless awareness and compassion beam from her very soul which can be felt within every word she writes, as if her heart was transmitting her love and compassion directly to all that read her works, making her children’s books just as special to parents, aunts, uncles, and care givers, as they are to children.

About the Illustrator

Emma Stuart has been illustrating children’s books for the past 11 years. In this time she has illustrated over 30 books. Emma works primarily with water colours, but also works with acrylics, oils, pen and ink and pencil. Her characters are full of life and bring a real sense of ‘light heartedness’ to the reader. Emma can work in a large range of genre’s and styles, from highly detailed realism to simple character based illustration. As well as illustration, Emma also exhibits work regularly.
